Schooling Day

View across the jumper ring!
Our first day was spent setting up tack room's and the tent and curtains that make us "fancy". It was a hot, hot day and I successfully got sun burnt despite my sunscreen *ugh*.

Marissa went first for her schooling round on Santa Fe, and after they had a slight disagreement of which Santa Fe won (oh silly boy, he has to test everyone doesn't he haha!) they got back on track and Marissa had a great round in the large grass jumper ring.  This ring is amazing with an unbelievable view.

Christine and Pam
with Minuet and Lacey
The day carried on with the hunter princesses off playing in the sand hunter ring.  These fences were set small but we did it none the less, the grass hunter ring was not set up for schooling.  Schooling went well for Pam, Deborah, Christine (on Minuet) and myself.  Uneventful though it was, we were riding in the heat of the day and we just wanted to get done!

Jill showed up after flying in from Calgary mid afternoon to hack Allie, turns out she had her Biology diploma in the  morning... passing that means Jill has graduated and is DONE high school (yay Jilly!!)

Christine jumped Smartie while the rest of were bathing and tack cleaning (thus I totally forgot to get photos... but it was only schooling, I'll get pictures when she's showing...oops).

After all this we had time to relax, hide in the shade, eat delicious salmon for dinner and early to bed.....
The hardest working one!
