Day Three (Canada Day) and Day Four of Thunderbird

Friday - Happy Canada Day!

The day went well for almost all of us.  Marissa did really well getting two firsts in her 3'3" jumper classes despite giving the spectators a few grey hairs during one of her jump offs! Ally is suffering from chestnut mare syndrome and is giving Jill a hard time (and I'm being polite... those aren't the words Christine is using to describe her!) Smartie was having a bit of a blah day and pulled some rails, though Christine did see the alligator so she won a prize (a large model alligator was hidden on course and if you see it while galloping around you win a prize.)

Hunter land was good with us hunters placing in most of our classes. Pam is figuring her new horse out and placed in all her classes.  Minuet had the day off yesterday and was looked at by a couple of people interested in purchasing her. Balou was a good boy (as always) despite his rider being a bit of a butt head.

Saturday

Santa Fe was a good boy, though back to testing Marissa.  Because of the last few days Marissa ended up Champion of her Jr/Am 3'3" division!  Ally is still a b... witch. Christine rode her today and said she hasn't had to work that hard to ride a horse in at least ten years!  Smartie was much spunkier today and ended up 4th. Christine saying she had so much fun!

Hunter land was swarming with princesses... hunter princesses as Pam and myself both won classes against the snooty uber-expensive fancy smancy hunters.  *high five Pam!*  (yeah we're happy... and since Pam is my roomie for the trip we can talk as much as we want about how awesome we are!)  Minuet had a light day, a single class to keep her going and ready for the Cobblestone Derby (tomorrow).
